Engineering, Product and Operations
My superpower is building energized, motivated teams that turn big ideas into real-world solutions. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible minds in tech, and what excites me the most is the rush of lean development—taking concepts from 0 to 1, proving business cases, and living at the cutting edge of innovation. From founding rapid innovation labs to leading game-changing projects, I’ve helped build scalable products that span industries like autonomous vehicles, IoT, cloud, semiconductors, finance, healthcare, and aviation. Solving complex problems with visionary teams is what drives me every day.
Cruise Origin - From bare metals to a purpose built autonomous vehicle
Taking the Cruise Origin from bare metal to a fully operational autonomous vehicle has been one of the most rewarding challenges of my career. I led the charge in developing key software features and orchestrating the entire process—from hitting critical milestones in autonomous engagement and manufacturing to preparing for the public road launch. By aligning goals across software, validation, and user experience, I streamlined development, reduced costs, and ensured we met rigorous safety and regulatory standards. The journey from concept to reality reflects not only the cutting-edge innovation behind the Cruise Origin but the relentless drive that powered its creation.
AV Fleet Management - From supervised to fully autonomous
What do you do when hundreds of thousands of robots are driving on the road? Where do you position them for maximum efficiency? And when one stops working, do you tow it, or send it back to the facility? How do you guarantee every vehicle passes safety checks before deployment? These were just a few of the challenges I faced while leading the fleet management program at Cruise. My job was to get autonomous vehicles back on the road, solving real-time problems like optimizing vehicle placement, ensuring operational safety, and managing unexpected breakdowns—all to keep the fleet running smoothly and efficiently.
Cruise-General Motors Partnership
I successfully led the embedded systems collaboration between Cruise and GM, aligning on scope, requirements, testing, and hardware upgrades to keep the Origin program on track. By introducing an MVP-based approach and refining how we tracked requirements, I made sure our engineering efforts stayed laser-focused on both customer needs and key program milestones. The result? A smoother collaboration and a clear path to execution, ensuring the Origin program hit its targets without missing a beat.
